About their life

James Ephraim Lovelock was an independent British scientist, inventor and environmentalist with university degrees in chemistry, medicine and biophysics. As the author of numerous popular science books and articles on the subject of the environment and the future of humanity, he was considered an influential thought leader in the ecology movement.
