About their life

Władysław Roman Orlicz was a Polish mathematician linked to the circle of the Lwów School of Mathematics. He was a professor at the University of Poznań and a member of the Polish Academy of Sciences. From 1977 to 1979, he served as president of the Polish Mathematical Society.
