About their life

Karl Pfaff was a German mechanical engineering entrepreneur and the grandson of Georg Michael Pfaff, the founder of the Pfaff sewing machine factory. In this position, after the deaths of Georg and Lina Pfaff, he was the last member of the Pfaff family on the company's board. His father Jakob Pfaff, the younger son of the company founder, died in 1889.
