Their story

Karel Jančák was a Czech rock guitarist. He founded his first group Antitma 16 in the seventies. In 1987, he was at the birth of the group Michael's Uncle and a little later he played in the group Egypt. In 1988, he became a member of Milan Hlavsa's new group called Půlnoc. With Midnight he went on tour to the USA, where he stayed even after the tour ended and did not return home until the nineties. In the US, he was also involved in music for a short time, but subsequently stopped and was addicted to drugs. After returning to Chotěboř, he founded the group Masox with Martin Dopita (bg), Pavel Munia (dr) and Libor Frajdl (voc), which was active for 2 years. Karel Jančák was divorced. He had one son from his marriage to Monika.
