About their life

Buenaventura Luna, pseudonym of Eusebio de Jesús Dojorti, was an Argentine journalist, musician, composer, poet, librettist and radio host, and politician, with great influence on Argentine folk music. In the 1930s he directed several folkloric musical groups, including La Tropilla de Huachi Pampa, one of the first to have massive success, made up of, among others, Antonio Tormo and Diego Manuel Canales. At the end of the 1930s he hosted El fogón de los arrieros, the first national folk music radio program. Among his best-known songs are "Zamba de la toldería" and "Vallecito". His masterpiece has been considered Sentencias del Tata Viejo.
