About their life

Rudolf Hotowetz was the secretary of the Prague Chamber of Commerce and Trade, a member of the executive committee of Živnostenská banka, an important national economist and later minister of the Czechoslovak government, government commissioner of the General Pension Institute or the first president of the Oriental Institute. He was very active in publishing and in his texts he strove, for example, for the economic rapprochement of the Central European Danubian states.
