Their story
Richard “Mörtel” Siegfried Lugner was an Austrian building contractor, project developer, entertainer and reality TV actor. Lugner gained notoriety in the tabloid press through his Lugner City shopping center in Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus, his annual visit to the Vienna Opera Ball, his numerous love affairs and marriages, and as a candidate for the Federal Presidential election and the National Council election. He was part of the so-called Seitenblickegesellschaft and was referred to as a “society lion” and a Viennese original.
