René Troadec, born July 6, 1908 in Plounéour-Trez, Finistère, died August 10, 1986 in Lesneven, Finistère, is a French colonial administrator and officer. An officer in the Free French Forces during the Second World War, he became a Companion of the Liberation. He was later governor of Chad, where he facilitated the transition to autonomy.
