Their story
Reiner Klimke was a successful German dressage and eventing rider as well as a politician (CDU). He is one of the most successful summer Olympians. For many years he was Germany's most successful Olympian until he was replaced by Birgit Fischer at the 2000 Summer Olympics. For a long time, Klimke was the most victorious dressage rider in the world before he was replaced by Isabell Werth.
