Their story
Maria Kondratievna Gorokhovskaya is a Soviet gymnast, the first Olympic champion in the individual championship. Winner of the largest number of medals (seven) won by a woman at one Olympics. She became an Olympic champion at the age of 30, which exceeds the age of all other absolute Olympic champions. World champion in 1954 in the team championship, multiple champion of the USSR. Honored Master of Sports of the USSR (1952). International judge (1964).
