Their story
Josef Johann Klaus was an Austrian politician (ÖVP) who served as Austrian Chancellor from 1964 to 1970. Before becoming chancellor, he was governor of Salzburg from 1949 to 1961 and finance minister in the Gorbach government from 1961 to 1963. Klaus was also federal party chairman of the ÖVP from 1964 to 1970.
