Brigadier General John Pasmore Widgery, OBE, TD, PC[?], was a British judge and barrister. He served as Chief Justice of England and Wales from April 1971 to April 1980. During his tenure, he presided over the controversial "Widgery Tribunal" in 1972 regarding the Bloody Sunday incident in Northern Ireland.
