About their life

Hermenegildo Iza y Aregita, better known as Hermenegildo de la Asunción, was a Spanish religious and priest of the Order of the Holy Trinity, shot by the Republican side during the Spanish civil war. He was beatified by Pope Francis on October 13, 2013.
