Sayyed Hassan bin Ibrahim bin Hussein Bahr al-Ulum Tabatabai is an Iraqi Ottoman poet. He was born in Najaf and grew up there in a prominent family known as the Bahr al-Ulum family. He learned from his father, who was famous for his knowledge and literature. Then he studied with the scholars of his time. He desired literature and excelled in organizing histories until he specialized in it. He wrote a collection of histories called “The Organized History,” which is a manuscript and includes about a thousand verses in which he chronicled events and personalities from prominent figures in his family and era. He also wrote a collection of poetry. Practice trade. His son is Muhammad Sadiq Bahr Al-Ulum. He died in Najaf at the age of 70.
