Grigori Jewsejewitsch Sinowjew war ein sowjetischer Politiker und marxistischer Theoretiker. Er war von 1921 bis 1926 Mitglied im Politbüro der bolschewistischen Partei sowie von 1919 bis 1926 gleichzeitig Vorsitzender der Kommunistischen Internationale. Ursprünglich ein enger Weggefährte von Josef Stalin, wurde er im Zuge der stalinistischen Säuberungen hingerichtet.
