Grantley Goulding was a track and field athlete and took part in the first Summer Olympics in Athens in 1896. Competing for the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, he qualified in the 110 meter hurdles at the elimination race on March 26th. / April 7, 1896greg. with a first place finish with a time of 18.4 seconds for the final. He finished there on March 29th. / April 10, 1896greg. With a time of 17.7 seconds, he took second place behind the American Thomas Curtis. Only two participants competed in this final.
