Du Jian (February 19, 1934 - July 23, 2022), whose real name was Li Wenjian, and who used to use the pen name Li Huanyu, was a Hong Kong writer, translator and literary critic. He mainly wrote science fiction and mystery novels. He had translated many foreign science fiction works and founded literary journals such as "Open Book" and "Science and Science Fiction". He vigorously promoted the development of Hong Kong science fiction novels. Among the people he promoted were Hong Kong writer Tan Jian. He also served as editor of Ta Kung Pao and New Evening News.
