Cordwainer Smith was an American science fiction author. By profession he was a political scientist and political advisor. Under his real name he published a series of books on Far Eastern politics and psychological warfare. Other pseudonyms he used included Felix C. Forrest, Carmichael Smith and Anthony Bearden.
