Cameron Burrell He is an American track and field athlete whose father, Leroy Burrell, is the coach of the University of Houston track and field team. Leroy and Cameron Burrell are the first father-son pair to break the 10-second barrier in the 100 meters in track and field. Cameron Burrell ran 9.929 seconds in the semifinals of the 2017 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, and finished third in the men's 100 meters of track and field at the 2017 Summer World University Games. Cameron Burrell was also the first person to die among those who had broken the 10-second mark (excluding super wind speeds).
